What kit do you have in the car for snow conditions

If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

What kit do you have in the car for snow conditions

#1 Post by toffe wrapper »

Hi All
So what kit if any do you have in the car for the snow.

I am out early to every day so carry a few bits and bobs.
Doss bag, snow shovel, brew kit & winter clothing. Just incase I end up stuck on a road.
It happend once due a lorry, 6 hours stuck due to some trucker who thought he knew better.

Shovel. Also useful for winter zombies.
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

I've got a van, so a bit more space for 'stuff' - one set snow/mud chains, couple of cans of Red Bull, old duvet and blanket usually used for protecting stuff in the load area, folding shovel, shoe grips, head torch and tow rope.
Careful now/that sort of thing

The boot on my old Mondeo is huge, so I leave my emergency kit in the car all year round - A spare set of clothes, enough water for me and the car (including screenwash etc.), first aid, foil blankets and compact sleeping bag, torches, tools (including plastic and duct tape for window repairs), compact shovel, wet-wipes and kitchen roll, and an old waterproof jacket...my walking boots always stay in the car too as I don't drive wearing them...

...so when it snows...just an extra warm coat and hat on the back seat...

We have things in the car all of the time and just add to it for cold conditions, typically a tow sling and shackles, snow shovel, sweets, 5 litres drinking water, flask of black tea and warm dry clothes and boots and blankets. With the exception of the flask it is all in the car right now.
