Hello, I am James Donaldson-Webster.
I have recently been appointed Full-bore Captain of my University Rifle Club (Aberdeen & RGU). As such I have been tasked with rekindling the long gone Full-bore side of the club. I have had several years experience with Small-bore target rifle and limited experience of Full-bore sporting rifle, although I have spent many an hour discussing Full-bore with my father who is quite experienced with the sporting rifle side.
As such I felt that this would be a good place to look for advice on the tasks that lie ahead of me.
A quick introduction.

Hi James, welcome from down the road.
You have an excellent FB rifle club in Aberdeen with a great range at Balmedie. I'd have word with them first. Also have you considered Gallery Rifle shooting? The number of shooting disciplines is increasing so look further afield than traditional types of shooting. Good local and national competition circuit in Gallery Rifle too.

It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
