Hello from the United States

#1 Post by Noahbody »

Hello

My name is Jeff Pletcher. I live in Ohio, United States usflag.gif . I am the club secretary for the Alliance Rifle Club and Ohio-Penn League. Our range has a distance up to 1000 yards. Our matches included: National Match Cource (Across the Course), Mid Range (600 yards), Long Range (1000 yards) and PALMA (800,900, 1000 yards). Last year, we had the pleasure of hosting the Australian PALMA team for practice at our range before the Nationals at Camp Perry.

I compete in matches using my AR15, M1 Garand, 1917 Enfield and Savage 12 F T/R .308 shooting F-Open.

I also compete at Camp Perry. I hope to shoot matches this year using my 1903 Springfield, 1903A3 Springfield, 1903A4 Springfield, and M1A.

Thanks to a couple of chaps from the UK (Krish and Neil), I have been collecting Parker Hale sights and apertures. I am fascinated by the quality of workmanship of these items.

My next item of interest and hope to find is the Parker Hale M84 or Parker Hale 1200 TX in .308. If anybody has a contact here in the states that could point me in the direction of finding on or if a dealer in the UK that will ship to the United States, please feel free to email me.

Welcome my colonial cousin.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!
