I have compared the Zos scopes to Falcons and would choose a Falcon every time purely on optical quality and finish alone. Having said that, I had a chat with Brian recently and had a good look through one of his latest offerings and it was impressive for the price.........bloody confusing mine-field this scope thing sign01Gun Pimp wrote:Just had a look at the Falcon Optics website DM
These scopes are clearly from the same stable as the Foxy optics - they look identical with that ugly turret-block.
Nothing wrong with them - for £100 but Falcon are charging £200-300!
The latest Foxy scope doesn't have that ugly turret-block and the controls work as they should - smoothly.
Brian's scopes are made by ZOS - but not his latest one. A lot of the Chinese scope companies exhibit at IWA and it's easy to spot the ZOS features. Companies like ZOS are happy to mix n match on reticles, turrets etc. providing you order enough! It's also easy to see that a lot of retailers enjoy a healthy mark-up - and why not?
I admit I've not had the opportunity to review a Falcon but, if anyone would loan me one, we can put that right.
