Re: Lee Enfield No.5 Jungle Carbine Bayonet
I can do one with a knackered catch, complete with well worn No5 attached to it for £350.
Re: Lee Enfield No.5 Jungle Carbine Bayonet
Thanks guys, I got the No.5 though! ;-)

Mike, I reckon you should be looking on the US sites, you're more likely to find one there and at a more reasonable price.mikeb wrote:.....Still looking.

Still after one! Seen an unissued one for £95 on gunstar the other week but missed it!

Try valmont firearms. They had a few recently.
Re: Lee Enfield No.5 Jungle Carbine Bayonet
Its strange that they are so scarce and so expensive - there would have been over 250,000 originally in store during the service life of the L2A3 Sterling (Sterling bayonets are the same original No5 bayonets). All of those bayonets must have been disposed of as surplus in recent years. Possibly they were sold as scrap, or sold to a big Sterling user such as India or Pakistan.
Re: Lee Enfield No.5 Jungle Carbine Bayonet
May be interested in the No.7 if you want to sell it, obviosuly depending on cost
