Movie Armor

#1 Post by rufrdr »

A local filming location and studio prop rental company opened its doors for the annual gathering of cowboy enthusiasts, musicians, trick riders and ropers, and cowboy poets. As part of the event the prop house has some of its well-known items on display. My wife attended the event while I was off in the desert on my shooting trip. Here are some pictures of movie armor on display.

Ersatz PZKW MkIV converted from an M-4 or M-10 tank destroyer. I saw this being done about 10-15 years ago for a movie never finished titled "SGT Rock"

M151A2 from the TV show China Beach - my wife snuck onto the set once and got to meet and speak with Dana Delaney, the female lead in the show.
