Had a fantastic shoot at 600 on Century this morning / early afternoon sharing a target with rox. I'd had some worries that there was a problem with my jacket or position, but 48 bullseyes (37 vees) from 50 rounds made me feel a bit better about things. We had a really good marker as well which meant we could crack through the shoots no problems, and the nice weather made it a pleasure.
The shoot was made all the better by the lady with the big black rifle on target 98 with the muzzle brake, who very kindly moved over a bit after a quiet word. Nice looking rifle but it did bark a bit!
Yes sounds like you had a good day,
I also had a good day shooting with Martin S and his club, first thing on 900 "thats a long way" then afternoon on target 92 at 600 century I did ok well happy with my shooting.
Hmmmm!
I was on target 78. My first time at that distance. I shall not comment on how I got on, sign01 :cool2: but I did learn a valuable thing or six.
I even managed to get some in the black, albeit sideways..........
I saw some good shooting in the afternoon, and some of the cadets on 80 & 81 seemed to do well.
14y son 'ButtMatt' Butt marked for our clubs novices day today so a wide spread of shots for him to find then he ran up Hobsons to 600yds target 85- grabbed a 99 off the Icecream van & did 2 vs & a pile of 5 & 4s on the No4 with no sling?
