Well I am thoroughly confused now, since the safe shooting certificate came in and I sat my instructors course that is the third version of how the certificates are supposed to be accredited from the NRA?? As this is the latest version I will assume that this current
So this means that the NSRA card would be necessary for shooting smallbore and air rifle on MoD ranges??

Re: Mod Range Certificate
No to your last point. There is a specific exemption in the scheme for single shot .22"TR and airguns used in disciplines controlled by the NSRA - SCC not required.

Re: Mod Range Certificate
So under what circumstances would the NSRA issue a safe shooters certificate?

Re: Mod Range Certificate
LSR is one. I believe that TR standing (which is unsupported) may be another. TR kneeling involves a sling IIRC so being supported does not require SCC, but please don't quote me on that - I'm not 100% on what the exemption extends to.
Nobody from NSRA here who can answer??
