Looks good.
I spent a bit of time going around the photography shops taesting their wares, I wanted a macro for photographing firearms so I took a an old rear aperture sight around with me and some background cloths so that I could try out the kit there and then, one of the pluses of digital it being instant. That really helped me in making a decision. The Tamron to my eye won out best on image, I'd have like a canon 100mm macro lens but that was a puckle pounds too far.
If I ever get any money together I'd go for a canon 24-70 macro zoom.
