Hello from The Wirral, Merseyside.
Hi,
I am Brand new to shooting, only been about 8 or 9 times so far but love it. I shoot at Altcar and obviously at the moment only club rifles, however I am impressed with the club stuff and the people there are great. Bear with me please as I don't have a great understanding of the Jargon or the finer details of shooting at the moment. At the moment Its basically point at the black pin sized dot and shoot. I think the MOA stuff and everything else that's talked about will stick one day so I am sure I will have plenty of questions to ask for advice on in the very near future.

Windage and Elevation charts.
Hi,
Can anyone point me in the right direction of windage and elevation charts/formulas that are not too complicated to understand or even a site that explains it?

Re: Hello from The Wirral, Merseyside.
There are some useful ones in The Library section. Just go to the board index and there are two sections, library and beginners which you should find useful.
Hope this helps.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

Welcome to the forum Carlos, ask away when you have questions. What distance are you shooting to at the moment?

Hi Ovenpaa, I am shooting between 300 and 600yrds at the moment using .308 The club has 1000yds shooting on Thursdays however due to work haven't made any of them yet. I am curious to see if I can see the target let alone hit it at that distance.
