March 'scopes

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

A rather nice 10-60x52 March with MTR-2 reticle arrived today. I have pointedly chosen not to look through a March up until now in case I liked them so today was my first squint through such a thing.

WOW! Good glass, crisp turrets and super light, I am very impressed and looking forward to using it on the range. The only down side is it is heading off to a customer on one of our M41/M75 systems so I will have to go back to my S&B at some point.

The only downside is the cost (from £2058)!

They better be top quality for that price.

I suppose if one can afford a custom rifle then one can afford a high-end scope.

The one I have here was just under GBP2400. I will see if I can take a picture today however it will be without the rifle as these are new actions and barrels so everything is at proof. They are certainly impressive and the detail and colour at 60x is the best I have looked through.
