I don't know what is wrong with the bag of sugar test tongueout (if you can hang a bag of sugar from the trigger without the trigger going off its fine) I wouldn't be surprised to find a significant number of "pulled " shots are down to triggers set too light.

Sorry, I missed out on reading the revision 4 :cool2:Sandgroper wrote:I thought we had decided as long as it's safe (or the shooter is), we weren't going be too picky.ovenpaa wrote:
Triggers, I am open to suggestions, Sandgroper any views on this?
Edit: Thought so - Revision 4 states: Triggers are now free as long as they are safe.

Don't worry - Revision 5 is supposed to be coming out soon, with some minor tweaks!vasbyt.skollie wrote:Sorry, I missed out on reading the revision 4 :cool2:Sandgroper wrote:I thought we had decided as long as it's safe (or the shooter is), we weren't going be too picky.ovenpaa wrote:

Sandgroper, are you going to make the changes to R5 and post it to the Sporting Class site?

No worries, will do. I wasn't sure if you'd got sidetracked (as we all do!) or just hadn't had a chance to put it up.ovenpaa wrote:Sandgroper, are you going to make the changes to R5 and post it to the Sporting Class site?

I'll run it past you and Mike first before putting it up, just in case I see anything else that could do with refining.

Re: S Class shooting - a discussion
The working document for S-Class has been updated as a result of the Strathpeffer competition last month.
S-Class-Proposal-R5
The main changes are the introduction of four range classifications for S-Class, the introduction of the Predator/Hunter sub classes for rifles and competitions, sighting shots and the course of fire.
Predator Class – Small deer/vermin Rifles: 22 Centre fire and smaller.
Hunter Class – Small/Large deer: 22 Centre fire and larger. See individual countries for minimum requirements.
Distance A: 100/200/300 yards/meters (Predator Class)
Distance B: 200/300/500 yards/meters (Predator/Hunter)
Distance C: 300/500/600 yards/meters (Hunter Class only)
Distance D – Discretionary (Organising Club/Shooters choice out to 800 yards/metres)
Any questions, just ask!
