Re: best .22LR ar15
Have shot the lot, in order of quality/preference with no budget I would list them as:
Bradley Arms
Lantac raven / CMMG
Spikes Tactical
Bremmer
SGC
If budget is a big issue then I'd go for CMMG or SGC, being a tight northener I have a SGC and Bremmer and love them both, I only rate SGC last due to the lack of T handle cocking however accuracy/reliability is very good.

I can afford all of them but I don't want to spend £2k on a raven if the spikes is nearly as good for half the pricd

Waiting list for a Spikes at the moment. I'd go Lantac or Bradley Arms or maybe the CMMG. Customer Service wise, Lantac without doubt.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

CS is a bit plus for me. I like the look of Bradley arms but it seems on a few forum he is such a arse, abusing members and slating other products purely for his own amusement

Can't go wrong with shopping with LanTac. I've heard nothing but gushing and swooning about the Ravens

Bradders' haul of medals and silverware (shot with his own products) in the Imperial meeting speaks volumes, I guess it depends if you just want an AR to pose in front of a mirror or to actually use it ?.paxtond wrote:I like the look of Bradley arms but it seems on a few forum he is such a arse, abusing members and slating other products purely for his own amusement
Re: best .22LR ar15
I was reading yesterday that a couple of blokes in the US have S&W 15-22's with over 100K rounds through each of them, with no breakages save for a couple of trigger/hammer springs and a couple of recoil spring replacements.
You mightn't have to spend £2K to get the "best .22lr AR15"....

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I'm not disputing his abilities to build rifles and the ones I have looked at are amazing, it's just his attitude online makes me wary incase of a issue, maybe he's totally different in person
