The .22 long range trial got a mention in the Autumn journal...page 38 tongueout

I've recently received the details of the next match (November 9th) - It includes the rules, course of fire, elevation and windage tables, contact details and entry form...

...it's £28 (supply your own ammo), or £14 if you want to do some of the marking.

If you're interested, please PM me your email address and I'll send you the full pdf...

There's been a change to the entry rules for this competition on November the 9th...

...you DON'T have to be an individual member of the NRA to compete - As long as you're a member of an NRA or NSRA affiliated club and fill in a small disclaimer (confirming your club membership etc.) then you can shoot :good:

There are 14 confirmed entries so far and about another 30 'interested'...

...If anyone on here fancies it then please send me your email, and I'll send you the full details including the entry form and disclaimer...

Hitchphil, did you get the details?...I'm not sure if I'm having a problem with PMs...

There's still time to enter if anyone else is interested...

I have had good group results with my Spikes out to 200yds, (CCI Mini Mags) but not on a windy day, forget it, that pipsqueak bullet flies around like a bluebottle in a hurricane!

And that's the challenge! - Yes the wind has a much bigger effect than on full-bore, but it's still manageable.....it's no coincidence that the winner of the last trial was a well known TR and MR shooter who has years of experience judging the wind out to 1200 yards...
