4scopes?

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

Bought my Sightron SIII 8-32x56 from them a year ago, just over £500 so saved around £300 on the UK price. Didn't have it shipped here though, had it sent to friends on the Gulf Coast and picked it up when we were over.

Yep that site says it ships worldwide and it lets you know if something is restricted for export. Sorry DM but I've never used them though I will bookmark them for the future as I am thinking about another scope a few months down the line.

They are offering the Sightron LR MOA 8-32 for $888.88

Add postage, 2.5% import duty, Parcel Force 'handling charge' and VAT and I don't think you'd save anything significant on what I paid Brian Fox (Fox Firearms) for one of these. Anything goes wrong and the UK importer (Aimfield Sports) deals with it.

I really do believe that buying through a UK importer is best, our kit goes wrong with alarming regularity and trying to sort something out with a overseas seller who may operate under different consumer laws to ourselves, is a nightmare.

On this occasion I am after a pistol scope. No one in this country sells anything like what I need (10-15 inches eye relief) and no one has one laying around since the ban as I am told they were only just arriving when that happened.

If I can get the eye relief down to around 4-5" I will happily buy from a UK dealer,

Worth having a chat with him though, he might have a Lorry load but might not have had a chance to update the website...... Or might know when they will be in stock....

Cheers Matt, the NC Star scopes get mixed reviews, but even the best reviews say that they are good for a $50 scope..

This is to go on my 12 Gauge F Class - perhaps your IOR would be more suited?..
