Thanks. Took it to the range for an hour on Saturday and was fun. Nowhere near as uncomfortable to shoot as it looks, with that folding stock.

Only problem is, my eyes aren't what they used to be and even at 100 yards I struggled. Think I'm gonna have to equip it with some type of optics. In keeping with the AK style, of course.

Nah, it wasn't your eyes, it was the AK doing what it does best.....suppressing the whole range zzzzom

So this is a pic of my AK is I bought it (all black polymer etc) Note the side mount for the scope you can get this type of side mount (not my first choice or a proper one from FSU)



This is how she looks now.



Folding stock grips sling ect all bought from Oleg (on his recoomedation to make the rifle look like an AKS-74 look-alike), only thing I didn't get at the time was magazines as they were out of stock so I still have two of the black polymer type ones.

One addition I would suggest as it does make things a little easier is the extended charging bolt that FSU sell (you can see one in the pic of mine) it just makes it that little bit of difference to the overall experience.

I may do. Though AKS-74 can have either grip.
