I've just been reading the new police guidance doc that was linked to recently.
In the first few pages it appears to say that if a shotgun holds more than two cartridges the it is sect 1.
Ithought it was more than three?
Or have I mis read it?

More than two IN THE MAGAZINE has always been the wording, in both the guidance and firearms acts. This means that you can have another one in the chamber = 2+1
And to complicate things, if your gun permits ghost loading, you can put another cartridge on the shell lifter so 2+1+1
