UPDATE:

...anyone know of a batch of F.N. "Auto5 Police" guns, sneakily disguised a Section 1, but cunningly already deactivated - for your amusement & pleasure?!?!?

The level of muppetry in some parts of the 'sarf is beyond silly at times... :run:

What the to$$er is trying to say is.....

I bought an Auto 5 Police, over the phone, unseen. In short, did so to pi$$ the Fat Hamster off.

Turns out, it's deactivated!!! Wasn't happy. Evidently, he is...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Nah, it's funny now. But obviously, not as funny as Jon thinks it is, but funny non-the-less....... Who am I trying to kid?!!

There are several funny aspects...the main one being that neither of the 2 RFDs whose books it went through twigged that the gun was not Section 1 was but had been badly butchered.

The not funny part is that a rare version of the Auto 5 has been chopped up & is little more then scrap value now!
I only know of about 4 working A5 Police models in the UK....several times more than that are chopped up de-acts.

Criminal waste of a good design

All sorted out....they gave him an instant refund once he spotted the snafu...

I'd have insisted on a working gun!
