FAC Shotgun Barrel Length

Is the minimum barrel length of an fac shotgun 24 or 20 inches?

With the overall length been 40 inches..?

Not quite

FAC S.1 (single shot/bolt action/double barrel/underlever) etc.
12" barrel...24" overall

FAC and SGC pump/semi
24" barrel plus overall minimum length of 40"

Correct. 20" barrels on a pump-action > prohibited under Section 5(1)(ac)

Either a typo...or another rfd that needs to be in a different line if work

This seems to happen every other month on GT, some RFD gets a US spec pump-action, sells it on GT, they get reported and said shotgun immediately gets pulled from the ads. See you in 2 months

Now I know that others cannot use a S1 pump/semi shotgun or LBR/LBP without having the slot on their certificate.

How about a short barrel S1 shotgun, IE sxs 12" barrels 24" OAL. For instance could a non FAC holder use it with the supervision of the owner that has it on their ticket?

Nope - club approvals are for rifles (of any legal type) and muzzle loading pistols.

S1 or S2 shotguns and LBR / LBP's fall outside of that and exist in a grey area for us all to misunderstand and argue about. :cheers:
