Salut,
I normally use a combination of boresnake + hoppe's 9 to clean my guns and if I shoot corrosive ammo I start by spraying some Windex containing ammonia down the barrel.
I was looking at the Milfoam Forrest bore cleaning foam spray - Is anybody using it ?
- Would it be of any avantage over "my" method ?
- Would it replace my Hoppe's 9 ?
- If so, is it worth the extra money ?
- In case it is, does Milfoam also add benefit after shooting corrosive ammo and would it dispense me of using windex ?
thanks for sharing your experience ,

Re: Milfoam spray
We use the foam too in our milsurps: a kettle full of boiling water down the barrel first then a squirt of foam, leave for 30 minutes, then pull through with a bore snake. Finish off with an oily patch afore storage.

Re-
thanks all for your answers & advise on Milfoam
CR2 looks like a good alternative to Hoppe.
