Happy Christmas to meeee!

#1 Post by techguy »

I was in my local gun shop the other day, looking to buy a CZ 452..but on seeing the price of them in there, I quickly decided against it, but wanted a new shiny toy there and then... Looked up to be reminded that they recently bought in some Walther Uzi's. The price was very reasonable, so bought one! Took it to the range, and it's *so* much fun!

I've ordered some new mags, a new forward grip and a laserrrr for it, which should be here by ready for the next outing!

Here's some pics :)

Looks like it might be quite good fun! Is it all metal and who makes them?

I do like the look of these, do you know if any of the original 'bodywork' is compatible with the .22LR version?

Yep, it's all metal and works like the real deal... it's made by Walther/Umarex

I'm not sure if the original 'bodywork' fits, I think some of it does... I'm going to try to locate a top cover so I can mount a picatinny rail, and put a micro red dot on it without drilling the original.

Does anyone know how the barrel is removed on this?

If it's anything like the original Uzi, it'll be a barrel nut on the fore end of the receiver, just in front of the fore grip.
