Happy New Year from newbie-Surrey

hi all-and Happy New Year!!!
UK resident last 12 years-Reigate,Surrey
probationary member at Bisley
working class "golden boy"(born 1964-yeah!)
also affected with aviation and motorbikes viruses
technically minded-can weld,fabricate,modify,etc
also speaks dutch,russian,basic german & "scandinavian"
done 2 year National Service so military calibres first
open minded but trying to follow some rules...

Ah, that explains your extensive knowledge of other languages and National Service.

Now what about the motorbikes? I am hopelessly addicted to SuperMoto 'bikes even though I do not own one at present, I have run everything from KTM and Husaberg to BMW HP2's and G450's. These days I am 'technical advisor' to my son who rides Husaberg Enduro and has a couple of 1989 CR500's which are ideal for frightening yourself and anyone near you.

My advice is invariably 'GO FASTER!!!!!!!!

ovenpaa-at one stage I had 3 of them-now only enduro 350 and road-going-under-restoration/proper-real-man-motoguzzi750 one off
super moto is good and universal-but old 2stroke 500cc is like scandinavian troll man!never had one but heard the stories...arms reaper!
