The National Body General Discussion section is exactly that, a section for all of us to discuss the National Bodies and what they are up to.
Please bear in mind that this is an open forum and your posts can be read by all members. If you are in a position that can be compromised by what you are saying on here because someone takes offense and tells your colleagues or your sponsor and that in turn means you are being punished for your posts on here, think before you post!

NRA membership department
I emailed Heather Webb via the NRA website and got a message back that she no longer works for the NRA!
WTF - she was a mainstay there.

You'd think they would keep members updated and who is supposed to be doing what.
But then members only seem to be valued if they are paying to shoot at Bisley.

Oh give it a rest Dromia!
Heather was made redundant and left on Xmas Eve - the NRA have only been back a couple of days so give them a chance!
However I personally think that Heather and Amanda will be seriously missed and am very sad that they have gone
I have no idea what is happening next before you ask but telling people not to rejoin because Heather isn't there is plain stupid (unless you only joined because you fancied her
).
Only thing I know is that there is restructuring going on at the moment and they are probably not ready to announce the way forward yet.

Re: NRA membership department
So by restructuring you mean you get rid of the people that actually do something useful?!

That's the normal application of the term.dodgyrog wrote:So by restructuring you mean you get rid of the people that actually do something useful?!
Careful now/that sort of thing
Re: NRA membership department
Sent my paperwork for membership into the NRA on 31 Dec 13. Nick Halford from the membership department rang me on the 6 Jan 14 to check some details.
Sounds to me like the membership department is working well.

Re: NRA membership department
Nick is always a pleasant sort to deal with and I was pleased to see he came straight back after being momentarily lost in the first shake up.
