Hello

#1 Post by North East Sniper »

Hi all

To introduce myself

I am up in Aberdeenshire
I am mainly a full bore and gallery rifle shooter who does all of his own reloading
I used to do clay doo's as well but not so much now since I got into full bore
I'm a full member and RO of our local club and I'm a full member of the FCSA
I'm working towards becoming a RCO
I love the big calibre's
I have not got a 50 yet BUT I will have some day as long as santa is good to me lol

The apple of me eye, is my Tikka T3 in .308, absolutely love that rifle

Can't really think of anything else of interest so if you want to know anything else about me then please just ask

Welcome to the forum. Some of the earlier Tikka .308's are very bit as good if not better than the T3 and well worth a look at.

Hi christel, the person that pointed me to the nagant thread is a member I think but I don't know his user name, will need to ask him

Hi ovenpaa, Yeah from what I have seen of older Tikka's some of them are very good too, I bit the bullet and bought the T3 last year BNIB, and straight from the box it was a great rifle, I will never part with, and if it came to a choice between the wife or the T3, well, it's the wife that would need a new home not the T3 lol

Hehehe, wife or rifle. Well I live with a shooter who already has a .308 Tikka M65A with a German S&B 12x56 on top. Superb rifle although she is talking about getting rid now.
