Question for you folks ... How important is the torque on the screws holding on the woodwork ??... (Brno mod2 / cz452) reason is I want to do a trigger job but haven't got a torque screwdriver ...

Personally I don't torque mine , I just do them hand tight each time , so long as I know I am putting the same pressure on and it shoots good for me , I am a happy bunny with one hole groups .

Just make sure the action sits flat in the stock and does not rock forwards or back. I just do hand tight,Too tight can crush the stock. pillaring and bedding will set it perfect.
Good luck with the trigger, don't drop the ballbearing they not easy to find or put back. David.

Ball bearing ??? There wasn't one ... I only removed the rear pin and swapped the spring .. Is the ball bearing in the front of the mechanism ?

Didn't know how far you were going with the trigger mod.
Another mod is to remove on creep on the sear by inserting a shim on the next pin. The bearing is on the spring that tensions the sear. Your best bet is to look on the tube for vids that show the process. Finally make sure your gun is safe. Do all the tests. David.

A good tip if your taking anything apart with springs in , do it in a plastic bag so if they or anything else goes ping it doesn't fly away never to be seen again .

Just did the job on my CZ455 .17hmr with the kit from Rimfire Magic.

Hand tight on the screws.

Didnt use the tube - they said not to on the 455 - just replaced the trigger spring with the middle strength one they sent.

I must get a proper pin punch - those pins are deceptively small!

Didn't bother with shimming .. There is zero creep in the trigger.. Tried the lightest spring first but it failed the "bump" test .. Went for the next one up, really happy with it !

Same here, the shims were not needed, and resulted in bump-test failure.

The sear pivots on a ball bearing, with a spring behind it - perfectly primed to launch said (tiny) ball out to be lost in your carpet/cat etc. if you remove the sear. Did this recently with my 455, to add a DIP adjustable sear, and the aforementioned plastic bag trick is a lifesaver :)

Action screws: tightened mine to 20 inch pounds with my FAT wrench (note 455 screws are T30 Torx), as this reflected the torque needed to undo them, and appears to be in line with other web/forum chatter regarding the recommended spec.
