The Producers

I have been watching "The Producers" on and off a couple of times during the last week or so, running in the background, repeat on TV.

It makes me laugh, worse still I have the "Springtime for Hitler" song in my head all the time.

Zero Mostel, Gene Wilder, Dick Shawn, Kenneth Mars, what is there not to like :lol:

Yep that and Blazing Saddles have to be two of my favourite comedy films.

Mel Brooks at his tasteless and irreverent best in those two.

My toes start to curl the moment I watch any of his films, I view them with morbid curiosity yet find myself watching them again and again. Some of the most cringeworthy films I have ever watched.

No, but sometimes his irreverence just isn't as quality as it could be.
