Hello Everyone

#1 Post by EDnSKY »

Hi all,

A newbie here from Bolton.

I am Bernie and I have been shooting air rifles since I was 14 years old (now 48). Served 6 years in HM Forces REME as an Avionics Tech working on helicopters. Managed to blag a go of quite a few different rifles and pistols in that time, it was very handy being stationed near the American, Dutch and German Armies
I have a FAC with slots for the usual .22LR and .17HMR and have a CZ452 Varmint .22LR which I use for pest control on a farm near to where I live. I also use a HW100 KT paired with a dedicated night sight for barn work.
I also have a SGC although I have recently sold my shotgun because I didn't have the time to use it as I should.

I am looking to move towards the full bore side of shooting and reloading sounds very interesting indeed and as such I am starting to look for a local club to join.

Well that's all for now there are many interesting post that i need to read and digest .. .. .. tesnews

Hi Watcher, thanks for the offer I'll get back to you on that.

I think I might have a problem due to work commitments but I'll post a new thread in another section so as not to clog this one up.

Hi nickb834, I've been on the phone to Vince from diggle ranges and I've shot a few times at the air rifle section of the Bolton Gun Club but I didn't know the small bore range was up and running!

Welcome to the forum, reloading is not so bad when you get your head around it although it can become quite addictive....
