Hi all,

I need an original Garand leather sling for my Springfield 1903A4, anyone?

What year & maker do you want?

I have a few dozen originals. All except about 2 I'd not trust on my M1903A4 myself...and one of them is ON my A4

I make the M1907 slings from new.
They look better and have zero chance of failing when you least want them to

Hi Saddler......that was bloody quick, well the old girl is 1943, maker, not really bothered mate, whats the price range condition etc

I am sure yours are superb, but I want an original for the A4.

The self employed are never off duty mate!

Thanks for the incredibly fast response!

Pm me if you like with any info, cheers John.

Same age as my A4. Mine was from the first batch.

The other M1907 sling I have is a 1918 dated mint one. It's been on a rifle in the past, but not since I've had it.
I use a 1943 sling on my A4...or a canvas M1 sling as I don't like to get the older gear too dirty/wet.

Is yours the correct M73B1 scope?
I also do the covers for them...and the M82 Alaskan scopes.

Will hunt around tomorrow to see if I can turn up a third sling, but I know that 90%+ of the rest are only in the collection as reference items; for date codes and construction details and most of them are a mild coughing fit away from snapping into several small pieces.

Cheers Saddler, yep correct scope on mine, the covers sound good mate, pm me some pics/prices when you get the chance.

My Spikes tactical is going to make room, I think it was feeling out of place among the Enfields and L1A1 that reside in my cabinet!

Just got bored with .22lr, time to go .30-06 me thinks!

Cheers again, John.
