Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Tim Hannam Reloading

#1 Post by simong »

Evening peeps,

Excellent folks at Tim Hannam's I brought an electronic powder weighing thingy and after 50 rounds it seemed to get a bit tired and emotional about taking up residence in Suffolk  .
I sent it back to whence it came and they have replaced the unit within 48 hrs.

Stout fellows says oi…

Great shop...but only IF the right employee deals with you.

One manjack knows jackall about jackshit & needs a rocket up his jacksy; he gives a good impression that he's already jacked it in

I forget his name..

.EVERY order of mine he's dealt with has been riddled with errors

Be easy on him he is a young man trying to learn his trade. The guy who knows what he is talking about is trying to get him up to speed they come to our shoots they are nice guys be patient with them. None of us are perfect. They are candidates for probationary membership they drive two hours to attend our guest days. They are OK.

The young chap has made mistakes with EVERY one of my orders since he started.
He's been there several months...no sign of ANY improvement. ANY. He's costing folk money & losing money for his employer.

Today. He failed to pass an important order of mine to an rfd for dropping off when in my area.
He'd confirmed twice that he would pass my order to said rfd...then failed to do so.
The rfd even asked if there was anything to be picked up for anyone else...bright as a TocH lamp.

When I see the chaps that are wating for their goods, I saw what exactly?
"They" are not my concern. Whenever I phone I only speak to the older lad or one of the female staff.
This week the older lad was on holiday...so no other option.
Newbie is the one unable to complete simple tasks. One-offs I can live with...he's about as much use as YODEL

Saddler you are upset you are in business things are not working out for you. I understand I only shoot with the Guys. He is very young he brings his girl friend they are very much in lust. No wonder his brain is scrambled I have seen what she looks like the lucky stiff. No wonder he can not concentrate.
Just jesting I take your point.

All my orders with Hannams have been spot on, but I have only spoken to a lady on the phone or used Amazon for the bits I can. It must be very frustrating to keep having orders messed up though.
