Recommend Badger a Section 1 shotgun

None of my Rem 870s have been expensive buys...they are tough guns.
The Mossberg 590 are fun; but I prefer non-alloy receiver toys.
Slickest of the ones I have are the Ithaca 37 pumps. Like a kittens tears rolling down a pane of glass.

The pumps we see having most issues with feeding at the shoots are the supernova model.
The issue seems to stem around their one flavour suits all 3.5" chamber: lots of short stroking errors for the
amusement of the audience.

For semi autos we likewise have a fondness for steel rreceiver guns.
Top of the tree are the Browning Auto 5 designs...the original offerings, not the modern rehashed name stealer.
I hear that the Benelli autos are good...again, we have witnessed them in bits during comp shoots. Expensive toys...but maybe not badger proof.
Beretta autos seem to be popular; again, alloy receivers mean we don't have one ourselves

Concur the Browning Auto 5 is my semi auto of choice.

He could design a canny gun, old John Moses could.

Useful information thus far, oomans and fat rat, very useful. We're thinking the Bora 99 might have the edge for a fun gun (the Vepr seems awesome but very expensive), though we like the sound of some of the more conventional tube fed semi-autos too...

Not readily available. ..but if you look long enough you tend to stumble into them.

The Browning BPS is a close relative of the Ithaca & well worth looking for too

One thing to watch with the supernovas is if you have a S1 with a solid aluminium follower it *will* jam randomly. Either replace with the plastic one, or PM me if you fancy a new Nordic components follower.

It is a long action, but the long action means a bigger loading port which means easier faster loading. Just pump hard (ooer!) until you develop the muscle memory to not short stroke it :)

My 1898 Winchester 97 is nice too.
Sadly the 1897 trench model is not UK legal...unless a de-act.
Chris Smith still had one of the Norinco versions for sale last time we spoke.

Benelli M2 - Ignore the village elderly, sorry, elders, M2's aren't the #1 PSG gun for no reason
Beretta 1301 - New kid on the block but its a blatant rip off the M2 and it comes with all of the stuff you'd want on a 'race gun' from the box (that you'd have to pay extra for to get on the M2 - enlarged bolt release, welded up shell lifter, big cocking handle etc)

Mag fed;

Vepr12 - If budget isn't an issue
Bora99 - If you want the mag for a reasonable price
