Now I know you want it, can probably get some once fired in fairly short order, and I think we have some new in stock.

Saw crates of 7.62x39 this morning but the airlines are funny about live ammo...I'd have had some 6.5x55 army surplus away otherwise...

Hmmm, can't you stick a GPS unit on a longship, fix it to the sail yards and send it forth across the North Sea laden with canned bangs ?

No problem carrying live ammunition on Airlines, as long as you do not exceed 5kg, it's in its manufacturers original packaging and is declared and placed in your locked hold luggage. 5kg equates to approx 200 rounds of .308.saddler wrote:Saw crates of 7.62x39 this morning but the airlines are funny about live ammo...I'd have had some 6.5x55 army surplus away otherwise...

Next time I come to Finland I'll let someone cough up for a proper airline as RyanAir seem to be a little fussy about such things...but if it's "no problem" then I could have paid the extra £40 or so to have hold baggage then seen what the Ryanair thought of their breach of policy.
...been flying to the Nordic areas for a few years now with Ryanair so I'm well used to the downsides of using them.
EasyJet DO allow guns/ammo: but don't fly to the places with fun shows
