25, the scene was set for that rip off with Cyprus, if and when it happens your money will be used by them to pay for their excesses.

As for the yank city, makes sense as they seem to be invading more and more people these days, not all of their victims will be living in desert mud huts. Replicating an urban environment makes sense - even if it's uses could be misconstrued.

I love the tinfoil hat stuff, I remember reading about and hearing from people who thought that people being shipped in cattle trucks to death camps was just a conspiracy theory - not sure if they had tin foil then, apart from "window".

Too true Chuck...

A lot of people only believe what is told by main stream media, forgetting that most of it is owned by Rupert Murdoch....List...

And how can the BBC provide a impartial public service when they are licensed by the Home Office?

And even the so called Independent Newspaper along with three other UK papers are owned by a Russian Billionaire Alexander Lebedev...

I'll expect to see an increase in "Molon Labe" and "defend the second" in the American forums..

Am I also right about a story last year about the us buying tons and tons of expanding pistol ammo and check point barriers? All bought through mediocre government outfits like the national weather service, and the fishing licensing authority and the child immunisation group etc....so as not to be picked up buying it all....i think it was 3 pistol bullets for every us citizen. .... sign85

The problem is the western governments will throw it's citizens under the proverbial bus to save their [financial|political] skin, it will be done in the name of patriotism and has happened many times throughout history. There has been a main stream media takeover, they won't show you the protests going on around the world, because of contagion. Just watch RT now and again for a full picture. I appreciate the quality of the reporting isn't 100% perfect, but... you'll be able to filter out the noise yourselves. If you have any [savings|pension(s)] you'll have to take it upon yourselves to become financially literate, because they're coming for your money.

Yep - spent many a day running around villages doing FIBUA (Fighting In Built Up Areas) - particularly around SennyBridge training area. Although ours tend to look like generic Bosnian vilages.

Conflict in Iraq and Afghan shows that we were underprepared for fighting a police action - when I joined up in the early 90's we were still prepping to fight the Russians on the eastern plains of Germany - massed armour formations etc.

I'm no expert but it strikes me that the G7/8/20 countries aren't likely to have a massed formation war with any other equivalent, and that the various militaries are likely to be fighting a civil war in hopefully a peace enforcing role (a la NATO in the Balkans) or as per Iraq / Afghan. If so they better be prepared for close engagements in cities.

Remember that squaddies almost universally are young, and still have families - and for the most part have a deep sense of right / wrong, so I'd expect there to be mass disobedience if the were deployed on the streets fighting their own populations.

Something about the Royal Family being shape shifting reptilians in the New World Order, and I'm off to me bunker in me tin foil underpants ;-)
