Visitors Firearms Permits
Every year we have a few overseas visitors who have problems with getting a Visitors Firearms Permit in time as they tend to take quite a while to process. So if you are intending to attend this years Imperial can you let us know and we can help you sort out your VFP and Safety Certification in good time. Anyone who is bringing a team should also contact us as below.

Volunteers for the Open Day
Volunteers to help with all aspects of the Open Day are always welcome – if you are available to coach or help out in any other way please e-mail karen@nra.org.uk with details of what you would prefer or are qualified to do and we will put you in touch with the relevant organiser.
General Skills Course at Bisley
An additional General Skills Club Instructor course will be held at Bisley on 25-26 June. For further details and an application form contact training@nra.org.uk.
Recycling bins
We are pleased to announce that the new recycling scheme is working well apart from a few incidents of fly tipping (or 6 bags of horse manure tipping!!) but would like to remind everyone to use the correct bins for your refuse. All bins have what can be put in them clearly marked on the sides.
Aunts and Uncles Scheme 2011 – Your Help is Needed
I have been asked by the NRA to organise things for this year. Please would you contact me if you have helped before and would wish to help again. Equally if you are an experienced TR, MR or F Class shooter who would be willing to act as a shooting mentor to a less experienced shooter please contact me as below. The Combined Cadet Force offers a prospectus of excellence for boys and girls of Bradfield College, providing structure through which pupils develop self reliance, resourcefulness, responsibility and leadership.
You will support the delivery of CCF training within the College, providing safe, challenging and rewarding cadet activities. You will also be responsible for the administration of the CCF and the promotion and development of target rifle shooting. In addition a willingness to contribute fully into wider school activities/events is also essential.
Skills:
Ability to plan and conduct CCF training safety to pupils and staff
Excellent equipment care and resources management
Ability to work as part of a diverse team in order to provide quality training for cadets
Ability to teach and enthuse young people in the sport of target rifle shooting
Ability to manage and motivate a competitive shooting team
Experience:
Military experience highly desirable
Range Qualifications and Rifle Coaching Course desirable, candidate must be prepare to obtain these during
initial employment if not already held
Cadet experience beneficial but not essential
Adventurous Training qualifications desirable but not essential
The salary range can be acquired from HR and will be according to experience.
