The rules for the various disciplines supported by the NRA can be found by starting with the Bisley Bible (officially the NRA Handbook).
This is available online, along with the NRA GR&P Handbook and the NRA Target Shotgun Handbook at:
http://www.nra.org.uk/common/asp/genera ... ategory=15
look at NRA Handbook 2013, pages 30-33, for the definitions.
Philip Treleavens online manual Art of Shooting, available here:
http://www.krieghoff.co.uk/sei/s/2855/f21.pdf
is as Dromia and others have said, an excellent one-page-at-a-time introduction to many varieties of target shooting.

Fred,
Have a look at the Diggle website www.diggleranges.com - there are plenty of pic of the various disciplines we shoot - including the McQueen.
