Well, it seems I have a problem. :o

I have made up a dummy round using a PPU .308 168 match bullet to a shorter OAL than a GP11 round.

It will not chamber, so, I have knocked out a bullet from a GP11 round and the measurements are .304 at the base of the bullet below the crimp line and .300 above the crimp line, nowhere near .308 :bad:

Any pointers to a solution will be gratefully accepted :good:

It is not a problem, it is the nature of the K31, it is what you get when you buy one, the throats are non existent.

As I said in a previous post it is the profile of the bullet that is important not just the overall length.

If you really want to know what your rifle will chamber then you need to take a chamber slug.

It may be worth trying the PPU 174gn 308 bullet.
This,in theory,is the correct bullet shape.
If you cant find any I have some.

Now that is something I have heard of but I have not got a clue as to how to go about it. I'll go and watch some You tube video's and I know a man I can ask :good:
