Hello from Oddball
Hello all, I'm a Monkey Hanger and I shoot at Hartlepool Rifle Club which has a 20 yard range.
It's a grand very old club with about a hundred members.
We shoot air rifle, black powder, .38spl and .22 rimfire and I currently own a Remington 552 Speedmaster which is lovely.
I will buy a Marlin .38/.357 when I can find one but they are like gold to get hold of.
Anyway, hope to get involved and have some fun.
See you soon. tongueout

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

Welcome
~Keep looking for that Marlin, but think about a Rossi as well, cheaper and available.

Hello and Woof Woof!
If that means nothing to you. Watch Kelly's Heroes immediately!
The 357 Marlin is lovely, you'll be really pleased with it when you find one.

The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

How are you finding the speedmaster? I see them for sale all over for silly-cheap but they seem like really solid guns.

Re: Hello from Oddball
Mine is in very good nick and was well looked after.
As long as I keep it clean it doesn't jam up. If it gets too dirty it will jam though.
It holds 15 .22lr and is lovely to shoot.
Watch your fingers with the left side bolt handle though. I think it would hurt you if you put your hand on it when firing the rifle.
I love mine.
