Dave and Chrisel: I hope you guys get your stand problem sorted...as I remember it was very popular last year...
Btw: this thread has just reminded me who Mr Smith is (who I think I met at last years Phoenix) ...and I'm attempting to give him advice on how to prepare for a gallery comp on another thread...
Ah yes we did meet briefly by the Shooting shed stand. And as Mike says easily forgotten.... tongueout
Advice for the 1500 is welcome as will having a practise sometime
I dont want to appear as if I was having a dig at the event, far from it, I loved the phoenix and action weekends, just from a personal level I really struggled to understand the higher fees etc.
those numbers that you have posted up are mind boggling, the differences from action weekends and the phoenix etc
one thing that puzzles me, Im puzzled easily as Im rubbish with numbers etc.. on the income of one of the meetings it says 9232.01, so thats online entries, onsite entries and other income
yet on the right under the events it gives income as 12871.50

The tables on the right are just a raw count of cards shot. They take no account of volume entry discounts, NRA credits or vouchers and credit notes people may have.

Not easily forgotten at all...I'm just crap with names...(Mike's so rude  ) - I remember you both...two burly members of the Scottish squad, with an equal appreciation of shooting and ice-cream...right? razz
Not sure about 'advice' (considering you're far more experienced at galley competition shooting), but you might get something from the report on my 'attempt' at the 1500, that I'm going to post...
If we do manage to get a stand position at the Phoenix it will be great to see everyone, the plan is/was to have mains power as well so we may even be able to knock up the odd cup of coffee. This is all very dependant on if we ever manage to get the location for the stand booked, sadly it is not looking good right now.
