#1 Post by Joe Pugh »

Just starting this up to see if there are any good films about these days.

Just a few to put out there Zulu, Black Hawk Down, Alamo, Full Metal jacket. Just some of the more obvious ones there.

If anyone has a good film let us know.

Jack Reacher was a good action/drama, Meet the Millers was very funny, Battle Los Angeles.was slated but I enjoyed it.

What sort of films are you after ??

Your life is missing something until you see the 5 hours of the uncut original of "Das Boot"...
And if you can get it there is an amazing janese "anti-war" animé "Grave of Firefly".
If you are too cheerful may I suggest "the Road" ups ... strong stuff ... you have been warned !!

I thought the last movie you saw at the cinema was "The Battelship Potemkin" - when it was first released, complete with a live piano music soundtrack

Still Game IS good.
Like the episode where they're all on the medical trial pep pills to stop them getting old!
