Nothing wrong with it. Just not to our taste, too fussy. We also felt it was too large for the room, and we wanted the new fire to be slightly to the right of the old fire. The different diamensions can be seen in this picture:
Clearly visible in this picture is the Vitcas fire board we used to line the fire place instead of rendering it.

We love it! I have to say it cost a lot more than the last one, largely because we had to have a stainless steel twin wall flu with an aspirator on top. Since these pictures were taken we have had to extend the flu by a metre as the fumes were getting into my neighbours bathroom window.
Ok! now a word of warning to those who say you can burn any old wood on a stove!!!!!!
Like a fool (Co's I know better) I burnt some privet logs on my new stove they very old and were bone dry.They burnt beautifully. I didn't burn many of them, but they must have been full of sap as the sealed bearings of the aspirotor became gummed up and it ceased to rotate I managed to free it, but by doing so I must have degraded the the lubricant packed around the bearing.......... now it squeaks as it rotates. Not enough to worry us at the moment but as we all know it can only get worse. A new Aspirotor will cost about £200

Well since I told of my stupidity, the Aspirotor is whizzing around like it is supposed to without even the tiniest squeek. Maybe the heat has dispersed the lubricant more evenly.............. he said clutching at straws
