A pinch of beeswax mixed with snake oil and dingely dell pixie extract cost money. There is a plentyful supply of Vaseline where I work, so that's what is going on top of the loaded balls!

Kabooooom! Enjoyed shooting the pietta yesterday, like bonfire night in your hand! Started off at nine grains of fine and stopped at twelve, I felt it was starting to stretch its legs at twelve, it started feeling good. At nine grains I felt it would have been easier to just chuck the balls at the target. Not too sure on accuracy an the mo, just getting the hang of the pistol as muzzleloading and black powder is all new to me, but there was a nice bunch of holes clustered above the target that I think we'e the 12 g loads. Cleaning was no chore and even the two misfires I had were easily sorted, happy bunny.
