BAR 22

Re: BAR 22
I would say the BAR 22 is more of a bespoke handmade item than the others.
The BAR feels like an AR chambered in .22 because of the parts used. Many of the clones only look like the AR tbey are trying to clone.
I guess you get what you pay for.
Consider the Dacia Duster and any of the many SUVs it rivals.
Both will be 4x4. Both will be similar in many ways. Why is one so cheap ??
I have just returned from the range. Have put a few hundred rounds tbrough the BAR 22. It cycled cci minimags, rws subs, eley subs and cci segmented subs just fine. And was shooting into one ragged hole every time.
But more importantly to me, it feels right. Sure i could have got a ruger 10/22 which would be reliable and accurate. But if you want something that looks and feels like an AR the BAR is the way to go.

Re: BAR 22
What I was trying to say was the other clones tend to chamber in 22 sport like a clowns pocket I new marks would be chambered farely tight for accuracy.
Re: BAR 22
So the difference is the breech and feed ramp section are part of the barrel rather than a collar?John MH wrote:AlexTwoGun
The barrel breech system is different and superior to all the others and in fact Bradleyarms and Accuracy Speaks were making these long before Spikes and CMMG ever came on the market.
Re: BAR 22
Does it lock back on the last round, like a proper AR?breacher wrote: The BAR feels like an AR chambered in .22 because of the parts used.
Is that why you've gone with cmmg mags and not black dog?
