I listen to Brian Eno and this one below at work to shut out the craziness and to cleanse my thoughts.

Jenks,
A question that has always occurred to me is does the music you listen to depend on your mood or does the music you listen to influence your mood?
Both I think.
I guess, my mood influences the music I choose to play, but to what degree I'm not sure. For instance if I am on a downer, (fortunately that is a rare event) then some music that under different circumstances I would enjoy, would drive me to distraction. I don't tend to play music when unhappy. As for music influencing my mood then I'm not sure that it does. if I am really up, then happy music might help keep me up there. I have to say frequently I just bung a CD on, and I'm not really conscious of listening to it. It is just a pleasant sound in the background. I do think I am lucky to have a catholic taste when it comes to music.A question that has always occurred to me is does the music you listen to depend on your mood or does the music you listen to influence your mood?
Cure? Brilliant.ovenpaa wrote:Right at the other end of the spectrum we watched/listened to two Robert Smith (*) concerts from 2013 a couple of evenings ago, this was mostly for the benefit of the Viking however I must admit I enjoyed listening to the oldies again.
(* Yes Robert Smith of lipstick and eye-liner fame)
