The claws are forced open by the ejector stub .. It looks like the fail to eject happens when the bolt rides up over the ejector stub, I'm going to have a go at "shimming" the stub so it sits a bit higher ... We shall see !!

Think I've fixed the problem ... I took out the plate that ejector is on .. Folded over some foil so it was about 4 thicknesses thick and superglued it to the rear underside of the plate and then re-fitted it ... It now seems to eject every time, although I've only tried it with snap caps or empty cases ..
Can't get to the range to try it out properly til next week ... I will keep you posted !!

well i fired 90 rounds last night and the rifle ejected correctly every single time.. problem solved methinks !!
