Hey! my old drop shot mate... ;) Thanks for the link to that video. Never seen a Lewis gun being fired before. I would love a 'cabby' on one.. :good: :wave:

The one linked to was a good watch, as have been MANY of the others....
BUT
Another in the series though, HAS to be the biggest pile of unadulterated sh!te I have ever watched for several decades - and that includes SNP Partie Political Re-education Broadcasts

Style over substance? You tell me...
Prize for anyone that even gets a scent of any "facts" re. historical accuracy, use of correct language/terminology for the time, ACTUAL behaviour of the troops in France/Belgium, etc.
PLUS
The "officer" - obvious a legend in his own drama classes, never bothered with a haircut for the role (whisps of hair suggest an attempt to hide a pony-tail) - but no doubt well briefed on the main focus of his role: which was to get very little across to the audience other than his own ability to look smug
