Hi

#1 Post by AndyUOC95 »

Hello,
My Name is Andrew but everybody just calls me Andy i'm new to FB. Im 19, I'm a Biomedical science student at Chester Uni but i'm from Manchester i've been shooting for about 6 years and have held an FAC for the last 3.I shoot with my father and between us we have abut 15 firearms so we enjoy shooting many different disciplines. I usually shoot 2-3 times a month mostly at 200 yards but recently have been reaching out shooting up to 1km which is a great experience. I am mostly here to learn from more experienced shooters and to learn a thing or two to become better also theres some decent banter :)

most of the time my discipline is probably described as plinking at 200 yards with my 308. but i get the opportunity to go to wales and shoot at 300 yards once a month. I also do quite alot of gallery rifle where i use my sgc lever release 9mm and my marlin 44. but my club does competitions once a month so i have the opportunity to do several different disciplines such as i have recently bought a Saiga 12g to take part in practical shotgun competitions, i am also quite interested in the civilian service rifle shooting as i have straight pull ar15 with one upper in 223/5.56 and one upper receiver in 300 aac blackout. I also have taken part in a few mini rifle competitions with my issc mk22 which is lots of fun. in the near future i am looking at joining a club that will allow me to use my 308. out to 800m and i also have a 300 win mag on order so im also looking to take that out to use the extended range capability

Welcome

Where you're from Diggle might be a good club to join, they have a range to over 1000yds and I believe they put on CSR events as well as catering for many other disciplines.
