Hello
HI All,
Brookers here, been lurking around this place for a while and rather like what i'm seeing :goodjob:
Been shooting since I was 14 (Now 36), Started with Frome and District Pistol Club the week after WSX :cool2: after my parents decided that I could have a air rifle but would have to learn to use it properly. So I went along and was given a Dan Wesson .44 mag revolver and a 9mm CZ 75, as you can imagine I didn't bother with air guns for long.
22 years later I'm still a member of FDPC, now on the committee and I devote a lot of my time to organising Practical shooting events for the club. I normally run a number of open PSG, mini rifle and LBP matches each year. This year we started a new event the Practical Shotgun Team Challenge that required teams of three working together.
I also spend a lot of time helping with the training of new members and RO'ing at other venues like Shield. I'm currently writing the COF for the first LBP match at Bisley on the 3rd of August.
As you can probably tell I'm rather in to practical shooting, I used to serve on the council of the UKPSA. These days the matches I run are for the benifit of everyone and normally promoted through the F4i forum but If it's allowed I would like to let the members here know of future matches I will be running.
As for the current NRA/UKPSA IPSC bid, I would rather just get on, shoot and run matches for the benifit of all safe shooters.
As a frustrated Pistol shooter I do have a .22 Low Mill 1911 and .38 Taurus along with a 9mm SGC Lever Release, Box fed 12g AKDAL and of course a 10/22. I keep meaning to do more FB rifle but just dont seem to find the time. Oh and I reload for the .38 and 9mm.
Bring on the abuse!

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
