Mossberg 500/600AT question

Hi guys! Got a Mossberg 600AT, trying to modernise it. Thinking of plastic stock, forend, etc. Anything I could find are for a 500 or 590. As far as I know there are only two differences (firing pin spring and removing magazine tube to get forend of). So it should be ok. However Midway Uk is says the kit won't go on a 600AT. Can't give exact explanation, based on costumer experience. On US gun forums people say it goes on... Confused. Anyone done something like this? Any ideas? Thx

There are x-to-the-power-of-"insert a digit" more Mossberg users/owners in the USA than the rest of the planet combined.
Who's going to have more direct experience...the folk who OWN a 600 that have just bolted on some new Tapco magic & left feedback on AmazingDOTcon to say how bubba-tastic it looks & how easy it fits, or a spotty yoof in a the West Midlands who's working in the shop as he likes guns/COD & is saving for his first Diana G10??

Most of the UK RFD trade have zero clues about aftermarket add-ons for 12-ga pump guns...even one of the two UK Mossberg importers was totally unaware that Mossberg made a barrel for the Remington 870

i never had issues with my 500 , granted iv not put 10,000 of rounds through it like other people but non the less its a good gun , iv also got the hushpower barrel which gives it an evil sound .... shame its 5 foot long but im bloody good with it at clay shoots

I had a 930 with issues, my 500 was problem free.
