Can someone tell me how to take the cmmg mags apart please?

Preferably with a large hammer tesnews

Which ones?
Some have allen bolts, some you push down on the spring loaded plunger on the base and slide the bottom off.

Best put a pic of the mag, it will be easy to identify from that

Float test? New lantac ones land this week I believe

Push the black tab on the base of the magazine up, at the same time slide the base plate forward.
Fiddly things, don't push too hard on the tab.
Once base plate is off pull spring and follower out.
