Extra barrel/calibre change

#1 Post by chancer2 »

I have been offered a match barrel for my CZ455 varmint TH but I don't have permission on my ticket.
What wording do I put my application for a variation for such a barrel which is the same calibre. Any advice please, as I'd like to get it right first time and not get any delays.David.

"Spare Barrel, .308" worked for me. For a definitive answer it would be best to ring your licensing team.

x-calibre - spare barrel - to be used in CZ455 varmint TH rifle - for competitions only/name of specific competition that you wouldn't use the standard barrel in.

When i used to have a spare .223 and 12b barrel on my FAC they were intended for different length barrels which made it a bit easier to explain to the FEO. For example the spare 12b barrel was for my Benelli M2, the one on there was/is a 24" which is suitable for PSG and i asked for another one which was going to be 28" for pigeon shooting. Then i found out a spare barrel was £500 and the slot got a 1 4 1 variation for something else

Thanks both. Sound advice. Now for the 202 and £26. David
