Re: Issc scar
That the ISSC MK22? Same-ish as the Anschutz MSR RX22?
I thought they were a nightmare, what do you like about it? I've fancied one apart from the price and not great reviews, but then I already own 2 rifles most people like to slate anyways

Re: Issc scar
yes it is the same although apparently the Anshutz is better for some reason
I really like it although I don't have to clean it!
weight, feel, looks
It jams once in a while but easy to clear
I'm not an expert by any means though......

Re: Issc scar
Look at the height of the sight line above the bore. The slightest bit of cant and you are out of the ten ring---possibly into the eight. Why do shooters handicap themselves with these daft, badly designed things?

Maybe because they're fun?FredB wrote:Look at the height of the sight line above the bore. The slightest bit of cant and you are out of the ten ring---possibly into the eight. Why do shooters handicap themselves with these daft, badly designed things?
Fred
Why do some shooters insist on wearing bondage jackets and funny shoes?
Re: Issc scar
Fair point about the cant
However
I just shoot pictures of garden gnomes with wheel barrows with it.
Great fun

Re: Issc scar
Fred, why would a high sight line make any difference? If it's dialed in for 50yds and that's what you're shooting you have the same POA as a low sight do you not?

Re: Issc scar
Yes but high sights are more susceptable to cant, any cant is a round the line of sight and the higher the sight above the barrel makes for a greater POI shift on the target
